FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dehart Marine Releases Test Results from Independent Test of the ESP 1000 Electronic Speed PilotResults show 9.88% average fuel savings from 7 month test.
Testing occurred over a 7-month period with the vessel operating primarily on the Ohio River. While using the ESP 1000, the vessel achieved average fuel savings of 9.88%, and average speed increased by 4.85%. This translates to average fuel savings of about 15 gallons per hour. The pilots also found the ESP 1000 to be extremely user friendly and low maintenance. "These results, when combined with previous tests, prove conclusively that the ESP 1000 produces significant fuel savings with no loss in speed," said Jimmy DeHart, president of DeHart Marine. "In fact, the ESP 1000 significantly increases average vessel speed, making it an essential tool for fleet owners looking to get more done in less time while using less fuel."
